Avoid eating this "healthy" food

Lets play a little game. I'm going to describe a few characteristics about a specific food and you tell me if it's healthy or unhealthy:
1. Contains substances that disrupt the absorption of nutrients and minerals in the body.
2. Contains substances that depress the thyroid gland thus negatively affecting your metabolism.
3. Highly refined, genetically modified, and highly contaminated with pesticides.
Now...would you classify this as a health food? I hope not. 
So why is this food often branded as being healthy?

Even though many food marketers are telling you this food is healthy, many progressive government's across the world are recommending people limit consumption of this food.
